Barely Legal 2013

Barely Legal 2013

The Barely Legal is a board for all bombers out there. It’s a fast and stable board with enough wheelwells to ride huge grippy wheels to stick those hard curves. It fits perfectly for “the new riding style” as it features wheelbase options at minimum 68,9 cm and being a top mount makes it really responsive.

It’s huge gaspedals makes it easy for you to “kick it in the back” and really dig into slides without losing a single bit of concave because they are applied on the outside. It also features a cute little tail so you can use it as your all around board.

      Hello Lars!
Pricing is not finalized yet, but retail price for deck only (including rough griptape) should land at around 149 Euro.

What’s the difference between Barely Legal, and D.F.A.?
How does that affect my riding?

    • Slipstream

      Hi Sebastian!
You can compare the different boards (specifications, descriptions) on the different product pages, but here is a lowdown of the biggest differences:
DFA: Longer, wider, rocker concave, kicktail, double gaspedals
Barely Legal: Shorter, narrower, no rocker concave, no kicktail, single gaspedals

Basically it all goes down to personal preferences. The boards might look similar, but they are actually pretty different.

If you prefer a slightly bigger deck, like rocker and kicktail you should go for the DFA.
If you like sightly smaller decks and do not care for rocker and kicktail you should go for the Barely Legal.

Hope this helps and good luck!
